This is best video for Pendrive issue – “File is too large for the destination file system”
But in this method all data will be lost and you need to format all data if you are choosing this method,
Most of us facing problem when we do transfer any larger files which have size more than 4 GB to a external hard drive or a flash drive with an error message appears that “File is too large for the destination file system”.
The reason behind is that your disk is formatted with FAT32 and can be read by all operating systems. It would not allow a file larger than size 4 GB. The size limit for FAT32 is 4GB and for FAT16 is only 2GB!
So Now question is
how do you fix this problem?
We have two ways to resolve “The file is too large for destination file system“
1st – You can either split the file into smaller pieces and then copy it to your Pendrive.
2nd – you can convert the file system to NTFS, because it do not have limit on file sizes.
Make NTFS and the problem will go away.
